In a heart-wrenching incident, Pakistani authorities have formally requested the Saudi authorities to facilitate the repatriation of the victims’ bodies for their final rites and burial.
Riyadh – A car collision near the holy city of Makkah has resulted in the loss of at least four members of a Pakistani family and left another family member critically injured. The accident occurred when their car collided with a trailer, tragically claiming the lives of Major Arsalan’s mother, wife, son, and daughter, while he sustained severe injuries.
Major Arsalan, previously stationed at the Pakistan Embassy in Qatar, had journeyed to the Kingdom to perform Umra when the accident took place. Following the collision, he was swiftly transported to a local hospital and is currently receiving intensive care.
