The Gems and Jewellers Association in Karachi has introduced changes to the methodology for determining gold prices, including a $20 premium in line with international rates.
On the global market, gold prices currently stand at $1,975 per ounce. It’s important to note that gold rates in Pakistan can change multiple times during the day in response to international market dynamics.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan reached Rs209,200 on Tuesday, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold are priced at Rs179,355 and 10 grams of 22-karat gold can be obtained for Rs164,409.
