Sindh Police Increases Traffic Violation Fines to Promote Road Safety
The Karachi Traffic Police, through its official social media accounts, has announced that these revised fines will be enforced starting November 1. In an effort to enhance road safety and encourage compliance with traffic regulations, the Sindh Police in Karachi has raised fines for traffic law violations.
The new fines for traffic violations are as follows:
- For exceeding the speed limit, the penalty has been increased to Rs. 1000 for cars and jeeps, and Rs. 700 for motorcycle riders.
- Violators driving on the wrong side of the road will now face fines of Rs. 3000 for car owners and Rs. 2000 for motorcycle riders.
These adjustments demonstrate the authorities’ dedication to improving road safety and ensuring that individuals adhere to traffic rules.
