Prominent PTI Member Farrukh Habib Joins Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, Citing Concerns
In a significant move, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Farrukh Habib has decided to part ways with Imran Khan’s PTI and has officially joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP). Farrukh Habib made this announcement during a press conference held at the IPP headquarters in Lahore.
Farrukh Habib, a founding member of PTI’s student wing, the Insaf Student Federation (ISF), and a former minister of state for information in Imran Khan’s cabinet, stated that his decision was made after consulting with friends and spiritual leaders.
During his press conference, Farrukh Habib expressed his disapproval of the events that transpired on May 9 and criticized Imran Khan for allegedly promoting an anti-army sentiment. He claimed that the PTI chairman had chosen the path of violence over peaceful democratic processes.
