Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Increase by $14 Million

During the week ending on October 27, 2023, Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increased by $14 million, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The country’s total liquid foreign reserves have now reached $12.6 billion.

The recent surge in reserves, credited to a 5% boost in Pakistan’s exports, which followed a 12-month decline, has resulted in the central bank holding $7.5 billion in reserves, with commercial banks maintaining $5.1 billion.
