Pakistan, Turkey agree to enhance trade ties


Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to further enhance trade and economic relations.

Turkish FM Cavusoglu congratulated Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Prime Minister Imran Khan on forming the new government in Pakistan.

Turk nationals consider Pakistan as their second home, says Turkish FM while addressing press conference in Islamabad.

“Governments and people come and go, but real friendships cannot end,” Cavusoglu said. “This friendship should remain forever.

We are thankful to Turkey for supporting Pakistan on different forums, says Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

“Pakistan has very close, historic ties with Turkey”

Matters of mutual interests were discussed in meeting with Turkish, Qureshi said

Addressing a joint news conference with the Turkish counterpart, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Turkey always helped Pakistan in difficult times.

Qureshi further said that Beauty of Pak-Turkey relations is not confined to the Govt level only.

The two sides are discussing ways and means to further promote economic and trade relations
