Gold prices in the local market experienced an upward trajectory on Wednesday, mirroring the rise in international prices. According to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the per tola gold price rose by Rs2,000, reaching Rs214,800, while the 10-gram price reached Rs184,156, marking an increase of Rs1,714.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $23, settling at $1,988 per ounce. A day earlier, on Tuesday, per tola gold prices rose by Rs1,000, reaching Rs212,800. The 10-gram gold price experienced an increase of Rs858, settling at Rs182,442 in the local market. The value of the precious commodity increased by $5, reaching $1,965.
