On Friday, the price of 24 karat gold in the local market surged by Rs1,100, reaching a new price of Rs214,400 per tola. Gold rates in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory, in line with the international market trend.
Simultaneously, the rate for 10 grams of gold bullion experienced a Rs943 surge, settling at a new rate of Rs183,813.
In the international market, the precious metal initially faced challenges gaining momentum in the early hours. However, it later witnessed a $3 increase, reaching $1,987.
