Gold Prices Experience Marginal Decline Locally and Internationally

Karachi, Thursday—Gold prices showed a slight decrease in both local and international markets on Thursday, following a recent upward trend.

According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the per tola gold price saw a reduction of Rs500, settling at Rs214,300. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs428, reaching Rs183,728. In the international market, the gold price declined by $2, reaching $1,986 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2580 per tola and Rs2,211.93 per 10-gram.

A day earlier, the per tola gold price had increased by Rs2,000, settling at Rs214,800, while the 10-gram price stood at Rs184,156 after an increase of Rs1,714. In the international market, the price of the yellow metal had risen by $23, settling at $1,988 per ounce.
