The decision to commence the new academic year on April 15, 2024, has been set by the Education Department Sindh. This determination was reached in a meeting of a sub-committee of the steering body, presided over by Caretaker Education Minister Rana Hussain.
Colleges are scheduled to kick off their academic year from August 1, 2024, as outlined during the committee’s discussions. The spokesperson for the committee affirmed that the established schedule for winter and summer vacations remains unchanged.
As outlined by the official, matric examinations are slated for the first week of May 2024, followed by the commencement of intermediate papers in the last week of the same month.
The spokesperson emphasized that the results for matric exams will be disclosed on July 31, with the announcement of intermediate results in the second week of August 2024.
