Caretaker Prime Minister and Ministers Disclose Assets
Recently revealed details indicate that Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar possesses assets valued at Rs48.182 million, including gold and agricultural land.
The premier has declared the value of 10 tola gold at Rs80,000, indicating Rs8,000 per tola. Additionally, he owns a house in DHA Karachi with a declared value of Rs4 million, two acres of agricultural land worth Rs8 million, shares worth Rs50,000 in Pakistan Chagi Mining Limited, and Rs22 million in his two bank accounts.
Caretaker Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar’s asset details reveal ownership of a house in DHA Karachi valued at Rs4 million, along with a plot in the same area declared at Rs125,000, both reportedly gifted by her father. Akhtar has invested Rs2.79 billion in Naya Pakistan Certificates, holds shares worth Rs300,000 in PSO, and declares Rs109.6 million in treasury bills. She also holds cash currency, gold, and other assets.
Interim Information Minister Murtaza Solangi owns assets worth Rs23.2 million, including a Rs12.7 million house. He declares the value of two houses owned by his wife in Islamabad as Rs3.1 million. Solangi also discloses the value of four tola gold as Rs70,000 and furniture valued at Rs1 million.
